DJI Dock 2 is DJI's drone-in-a-box station for automated remote operations. It houses, launches, lands and charges one DJI Matrice 3D or Matrice 3TD aircraft, and DJI built it as a smaller, lighter dock than its predecessor. It weighs 34 kg without the aircraft and measures 570 x 583 x 465 mm with the lid closed. The dock is rated IP55, works from -25 to 45 °C and up to 4,000 m altitude, and recharges the aircraft from 20% to 90% in about 32 minutes. Missions run within a 10 km operating radius and are planned and monitored through DJI's cloud-based software.
