Elios 3 is Flyability's collision-tolerant inspection drone for confined, GPS-denied indoor spaces such as tanks, boilers, mines and manholes. A carbon protective cage, propeller reversal and a dedicated flight controller let it recover from impacts and even flips. LiDAR and visual-inertial cameras provide SLAM-based stabilisation and live 3D mapping. The 48 x 38 cm aircraft carries a 4K camera, a FLIR Lepton radiometric thermal camera and 16,000-lumen lighting. Add-on payloads cover ultrasonic thickness, surveying, radiation and flammable-gas detection. Flight time is about 9 to 11.5 minutes on the standard battery and up to 17 minutes with the high-capacity battery.
