Photon is Hylio's compact scout and sensing drone, a folding quadcopter built for public-safety ISR, agronomic mapping and industrial surveying rather than spraying. It weighs 1.4 kg empty with a 3.5 kg maximum takeoff weight and flies up to 50 minutes without payload, or 30 minutes at maximum weight, at speeds up to 15 m/s. A 3-axis gimbal carries a 1/1.7-inch 4K mapping camera, with an optional 640 x 480 thermal camera and a 2-axis industrial gimbal for payloads up to 0.8 kg such as multispectral sensors or lidar. It has omnidirectional obstacle sensing to 20 m, RTK positioning, IP55 protection and NVIDIA Jetson onboard compute.
